Accounting (Build + Operate + Improve)

Own day‑to‑day accounting processes across multiple entities with full accountability. Lead month‑end close activities, ensuring speed and accuracy. Prepare journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and support IFRS/local GAAP reporting. Build scalable accounting processes that can grow with the company. Support internal/external audit cycles with agility and problem‑solving. Ensure proper accounting treatment for biomethane‑related operations (EPC, O&M, grants, green certificates, etc.).

Tax Compliance (Hands‑on + Strategic)

Prepare and file VAT, CIT, withholding taxes, and other sector‑specific obligations. Support tax planning and evaluate the impact of regulatory changes on Verdalia. Assist in transfer pricing documentation and intercompany transaction reviews. Partner with external advisors and authorities when needed. Identify tax risks and opportunities to improve efficiency and compliance.

Process, Automation & Scale

Design and document new processes—nothing is “already set,” and your input is key. Help implement ERP improvements and digital finance tools. Challenge the status quo and propose smarter, faster, cleaner ways to work. Collaborate cross‑functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Business Development—this is a

Who you are

You have around 4 years of experience in accounting, audit, or tax compliance. You enjoy taking ownership and working in environments where not everything is defined. You want to grow fast—professionally and personally. You’re analytical, curious, and not afraid to dive deep into complex topics. You’re comfortable with ambiguity and excited by the idea of creating processes that don’t yet exist. You communicate clearly and work well with cross‑functional teams. You’re fluent in English & Spanish. Italian is a plus.

Nice to Have Experience in start‑ups, scale‑ups, renewables, or infrastructure. Exposure to IFRS and multi‑entity environments. Big Four or similar background. Experience working with audits
