is seeking an experienced and visionary
Group Director of Operations
to lead the operational performance of our global portfolio of hotels, resorts, and lodges. This senior leader will play a pivotal role in shaping guest experience, driving financial results, and ensuring that every property reflects the understated luxury and soulful hospitality that define our brand.
About the Role
The Group Director of Operations oversees all operational activities across Zannier Hotels –managed and owned properties. This position carries full P&L responsibility, ensures brand standards are consistently met, and supports our General Managers in delivering exceptional service, strong financial performance, and continuous innovation.
This is a hands-on, strategic leadership role suited for an energetic, fast-paced, and highly driven hospitality professional with a passion for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Financial Leadership
Guide General Managers in developing business plans, budgets, forecasts, and revenue strategies.
Ensure each property meets or exceeds revenue, profitability, and guest satisfaction targets.
Conduct regular operational reviews, analyzing financial statements, performance metrics, and guest feedback.
Identify best practices across the portfolio and implement continuous improvements.
Brand, Quality & Service Excellence
Uphold Zannier Hotels’ operating standards across all rooms, public areas, and guest touchpoints.
Ensure teams are trained, uniformed, and empowered to deliver refined, thoughtful hospitality.
Oversee maintenance, service quality, and compliance with brand guidelines.
Support properties in maintaining high guest satisfaction and LQA performance.
Leadership & Talent Development
Provide mentorship and guidance to all General Managers.
Lead performance reviews, support recruitment, and develop future leaders within the organization.
Step in as Acting GM when needed.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
Growth & Pre-Opening Support
Assist with new hotel openings, including pre-opening planning, procurement, hiring, and training.
Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic development and expansion initiatives.
Qualifications
Minimum
6 years of operational leadership
or
5+ years as a General Manager , ideally within luxury hospitality.
Strong financial acumen, including P&L oversight, budgeting, forecasting, revenue management, and cost control.
Expertise in food & beverage, guest service excellence, and hotel operations.
Proven ability to lead teams, drive results, and work within an entrepreneurial, high-performance environment.
Exceptional communication skills, with a hands-on and proactive leadership style.
Hospitality degree or equivalent certification preferred.
