Location: Malága Full-time | Senior Level (5–10+ years)

What You’ll Do Design, develop and run robust data acquisition systems connecting to PLCs and industrial machinery with Java & Spring Boot Leverage the usage of AI Tools to boost your output and increase the overall quality Ensure long-term stability, maintainability, and performance optimization Monitor, analyze, and resolve issues and performance bottlenecks (JVM, memory, threading, networking) Maintain and improve existing legacy and modernized applications Optimize system resilience, fault tolerance, and recovery strategies Collaborate with automation engineers and cross-functional teams Contribute to DevOps processes, CI/CD, and production deployments

What You Bring 5–10+ years of professional software development Strong expertise in Java & Spring Boot including deep understanding of JVM internals, garbage collection, threading, and performance tuning Background in PLC connectivity and industrial protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, etc.) is a big plus AI Mindset: You see AI as a “junior partner” that allows you to be much more productive Solid understanding of microservice architecture and distributed systems Proficiency with CI/CD toolchains and Docker Strong analytical mindset and hands-on debugging capabilities Experience in manufacturing or industrial automation environments is benefitial Fluent English and Spanish are mandatory. German language skills are a plus, but not required
