, we are seeking a

Product development Engineer

to join our automotive engineering team in

Valencia, Spain. This project requires an onsite support in our client´s plant at Poland, so travel availability is a must.

Main functions to develop: Ensure full technical compliance of assigned components with all required drawings, specifications, and applicable industry standards Coordinate and support the complete PPAP/PPF submission process, including dimensional validation, material certification, capability studies, and control plans. Lead design validation activities (DVP&R) to confirm that functional, durability, and environmental requirements are met. Serve as the technical interface with customer engineering teams to clarify requirements, manage deviations, and secure formal approvals. Oversee and support testing activities (DV, PV, endurance, corrosion, and safety‑related tests) and analyse results to ensure product robustness. Drive resolution of non‑conformities through structured root‑cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions. Support industrialisation by ensuring the product design is fully compatible with manufacturing processes and series production readiness. Participate in internal and customer design reviews, readiness assessments, and milestone gates leading up to SOP. Manage design and process changes through formal change‑control workflows and customer approval processes. Provide technical support during pilot builds, pre‑series phases, and initial production to secure final homologation and release for mass production.

Essential Requirements: At

least 3 years

of experience in similar roles within the automotive sector. Knowledge of coretools: FMEA, SPC, APAP. Experience in plastics injection parts, chromed and painted parts. Fluent in English is a must. Travel availability (80% of the time) is required.
