We are looking for a CATIA V5 Designer / Drafter to join a project in the automotive sector. The role will focus on the development and management of 2D drawings related to seat cover components for different OEM clients.

You will work closely with the engineering and design teams to support the development of technical documentation and ensure design standards are properly applied.

Key Responsibilities

Create and update 2D drawings using CATIA V5. Develop technical drawings for automotive seat cover components. Ensure drawings comply with OEM standards and internal design guidelines. Manage drawing revisions and technical documentation. Support the engineering team in design updates and modifications. Maintain accurate documentation of design changes. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to design improvements focused on cost optimization, manufacturability, and product performance.

Education

Vocational training (FP) in mechanical design, industrial design, or similar. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar

Spanish:

Native English:

Professional working level

Soft Skills Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Good communication skills to work in cross-functional teams. Proactive mindset and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Nice to Have

Experience with KVS (not mandatory; training can be provided). Previous exposure to automotive OEM standards. Knowledge of seat manufacturing processes and trim materials. Experience working with automotive OEM standards and procedures.
