Sales Development Representative (SDR for German Market)

, you will be the first point of contact for future merchants, introducing them to our POS and payment solutions and generating qualified opportunities for the Field Sales team.

What we are looking for Strong communication skills with a confident and professional phone presence Fluency in

English and German Experience working directly with customers or clients in a fast-paced environment Experience in outbound outreach and cold calling Resilience and comfort initiating conversations with new prospects Previous sales experience is a plus

Key responsibilities Conduct targeted outbound calls to identify and engage potential merchants Qualify business needs and assess fit for SumUp’s POS and payment solutions Schedule high-quality appointments for the Field Sales team Build and maintain a strong pipeline through proactive outreach and lead management Support revenue growth by ensuring a steady flow of well-qualified prospects
