Remote Lead Platform Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated lead engineer to join our User Insights developing, and delivering high-quality enterprise solutions that meet the needs of our implementation and deployment of our products.

Lead a group of Cloud Engineers to successfully build a new AWS Organization from scratch. Work across cross-functional teams to build the centralized platform for all experimentation across a global enterprise technology company to drive the future of data-driven decision making. Drive the capability for parallel feature development and ensure incremental delivery of software. Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and support. Ensure the quality and performance of the codebase through code reviews, testing, and continuous integration. Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, including agile methodologies, DevOps. Demonstrates expert-level knowledge of AWS Control Tower architecture, including Service Control Policies (SCPs), organizational unit (OU) design, guardrails, and multi-account governance best practices. Broad experience in network engineering, with a focus on enterprise cloud networking solutions. Deep understanding of AWS Cloud WAN and AWS Network Firewall, including design, implementation, and operational considerations. Strong proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code, with proven experience managing complex network deployments. Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices. Experience in developing in a contract-first environment. Proven ability to use a data-driven approach to continuous improvement and decisionmaking. Ability to communicate fluently in English.
