Google Cloud DevOps engineer

We’re looking for a +4 year experience Google DevOps engineer with main focus on monitoring/observability and FinOps (nice to have). You'll participate in building and maintaining robust Google cloud architecture environments, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and pro activeness to propose best options to adopt. You’ll collaborate with developers, product owners, and fellow DevOps engineers to ensure high-quality business driven technological solutions.

Grafana / Prometheus (dashboards, metrics, alerting) Distributed tracing and log management (OpenTelemetry, Loki, ELK) FinOps / Cloud Cost Optimization: Cost dashboards (BigQuery, Looker Studio) Budget alerts & anomaly detection Lifecycle automation (shutdown, cleanup policies) Analyse & toepassing van Committed Use Discounts (CUDs) en Sustained Use Discounts (SUDs) Kubernetes / GKE Terraform CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab) ArgoCD / GitOps Python / Golang (observability and cost analysis tooling)

Strong analytical skills, translates data into actionable insights Experience with cross-team collaboration (finance, application management, product owners) Affinity for security & auditing (IAM governance and tagging)

Develops and maintains observability dashboards and alerting for critical systems Implements distributed tracing and log correlation for faster incident recovery Builds and maintains GCP cost dashboards and supports teams in cost reduction Automates lifecycle policies to prevent waste Collaborates with application management and finance to provide insight into costs and platform health
