Regional Sales Manager - Europe
Location:
Working from home, but with 40% of time spent travelling internationally, within and outside of Europe.

Job Overview
This newly created role (due to internal promotion) is central to our European growth strategy. You'll be responsible for expanding our presence in Southern Europe by finding and winning new accounts; and growing existing ones in the ammonia, refining, syngas, methanol, and purification markets. You'll compete against bigger players by leveraging what makes us different: technical strength, agility, and genuine partnership. Candidates with industry experience who are looking to move into sales will also be considered.
Responsibilities, Accountabilities and Duties
Promote UNICAT business growth by identifying and converting new business opportunities focussing on the sales of Catalyst products to Ammonia, Refining, Syngas, Methanol and Purification Industries.
Deliver and sell UNICAT products to new and repeat customers, maximise new business opportunities where possible by positioning UNICAT as a strategic alternative to established competitors.
Collaborate with customers to solve specific operational challenges and enhance their profitability
Liaising with Technical, Commercial and Production teams to deliver tailored solutions quickly and ensure orders are dealt with efficiently.
Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to identify cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts, introducing customers to relevant solutions across UNICAT's catalyst, adsorbent, and additive portfolios.
Actively participating in business/sales conferences and other Networking events to represent the business and identify new sales opportunities and build brand visibility.
Arranging and attending regular sales visits across Europe, performing the role with honesty, Integrity and adherence to all legal and ethical standards of the company.
Any additional duties as may be assigned from time to time by your supervisor or upper management.
Skills & Experience
Flexibility to meet unique customer requirements quickly.
Dedication to lower costs for industrial users.
Innovation to improve niche catalyst market services ignored by large industrial suppliers.
Have a technical background and industry experience, ideally within ammonia, refining, syngas, or methanol industries.
English speaking.
Located in the Southern Europe region (Italy/Spain) would be advantageous.
Be a confident and charismatic salesperson, with excellent communication skills at all levels.
Catalyst Sales experience is desirable but candidates with production plant experience of ammonia/refining/syngas/methanol will be considered.
Have knowledge of purification adsorbents and catalysts.
Chemical engineering or equivalent degree
Flexible and willing to travel internationally.
Good team player.
Will need minimal training and supervision to perform the job.
