Now, we are looking for a Intermediate Project Engineer in our office in Barcelona
, Spain
We are looking for an engineer with experience in project management either in a client or consulting company, to participate in a wide range of project work actively, ranging from small improvements to large industrial constructions. The management of each project can include multiple phases and/or specialization:
Strategic Consulting
: project master planning, conceptual engineering.
Project feasibility:
process description, plant layout, overall time-schedule, procurement strategy, financial plan.
Project preparation phase:
investment analysis, basic engineering, permitting, financing and procurement.
Project realization phase
: project management; detailed engineering, construction management
Closing Phase: Comissioning Mangement, Start-up and ramp-up coordination, Performance testing, Handover to operations.
The role of the
Project Engineer
is to deliver to the client the more than satisfactory quality of the services within the budget and planning defined.
What is the role About?
We are looking for an engineer with experience in project management, able to take ownership of industrial projects across all phases. The role includes:
Managing projects throughout the full life cycle
, from master planning and feasibility to construction, commissioning and closing.
Planning, coordinating and controlling project activities
, including scope, cost, schedule,
project documentation
and reporting.
Construction and site coordination
, supervising contractors and ensuring compliance with quality, safety and planning requirements.
Commissioning and start-up management
, including planning, coordination with vendors and contractors, ramp-up support and handover.
Multidisciplinary coordination
in fast-paced industrial project environments.
Technical oversight of industrial projects
, covering process engineering scope, utilities and civil works.
Experience in
Food & Beverages
is valued; other industrial sectors are also considered.
Experience in
mid- to large-scale industrial projects
(€1M–€10M+).
Who are you?
Industrial engineer specialization in one of the following qualifications: Ind. Organization, Process, Chemicals or Mechanical (and/or similar).
Industrial environment projects with scope in process engineering; equipment, mechanics, instrumentation, automation, etc.
3 to 6 years of relevant experience on industrial projects. Experience in Food and Beverages or Biotech industries is an asset.
Fluency in English and Spanish is a must, and French or German is an asset.
Driver License B.
Knowledge in PC-literate MS word and Excel and PowerPoint applications, MS Project, Auto CAD.
Candidate should have a Global Mindset, focus on results, challenging, pragmatic.
Candidate should also have proactive and leadership skills.
Travel Availability from a 60% to 80%
