We are looking for an
Environmental Technician
to support
Viscofan’s global environmental strategy
and promote consistent compliance with environmental regulations across our international operations.
This role contributes at a
corporate level
, supporting environmental monitoring frameworks, data consolidation, reporting, and the deployment of sustainable practices across multiple regions. The position plays a key role in driving continuous improvement in environmental performance by providing reliable data, technical insight, and coordination across global sites.
The successful candidate will work closely with
corporate EHS and local site environmental teams,
supporting decision‑making, regulatory compliance alignment, and sustainability goals worldwide.
Key responsibilities:
Support environmental monitoring programs across global sites by
coordinating, reviewing, and validating environmental sampling and testing activities
, ensuring data consistency and reliability.
Maintain and consolidate
global environmental records and datasets
, contributing to corporate environmental, compliance, and sustainability reporting.
Assist in preparing documentation and data required for
internal and external audits
, regulatory reviews, and corporate reporting initiatives.
Provide technical input and environmental data to support
risk assessments
for new projects, processes, or operational changes across regions.
Support the implementation and alignment of
corporate standards for hazardous materials management
, including handling, treatment, recycling, and disposal practices.
Collaborate with corporate, and local teams to help deploy
environmental policies, procedures, and best practices
across global operations.
Contribute to the analysis and follow‑up of
environmental incidents
, supporting remediation activities and preventive actions at a corporate level.
Support the oversight of
environmental monitoring equipment standards
, calibration practices, and data quality requirements used across sites.
Track and summarize changes in
environmental regulations, standards, and technologies
across relevant regions to support proactive compliance and knowledge sharing.
Partner with engineers, site managers, and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure
environmental initiatives are aligned with operational excellence and corporate sustainability objectives
.
Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
Approximately 2 years of experience
in environmental science, environmental monitoring, compliance support, or related activities.
Experience or exposure to
environmental sampling, data collection, and site assessments
.
Basic understanding of
environmental regulations and compliance frameworks
.
Familiarity with
environmental monitoring equipment and environmental data analysis practices
.
Professional English proficiency
(written and spoken).
