Currently, we are supporting an
international industrial group
in the search for a
Plant Manager
to lead one of its manufacturing facilities located in
Soria, Spain
. This position reports directly to the
Business Unit Manager
and plays a key role in ensuring operational excellence, production performance and the continuous development of the plant organization.
The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall management of the manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient production operations, high product quality, cost control, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role leads plant personnel, optimizes operational performance, and drives continuous improvement to achieve business objectives.
Oversee daily plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics.
Ensure production targets are met in terms of volume, quality, cost, and delivery schedules.
Lead, mentor, and develop plant staff and department managers.
Monitor and control operating budgets, production costs, and resource allocation.
Implement and promote continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc.).
Coordinate closely with supply chain, engineering, quality, and commercial teams.
Analyze production data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Manufacturing, or related field.
Master’s degree or MBA is considered an advantage.
Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial operations.
At least 3–5 years in a leadership role within a production environment.
Proven experience managing large teams and complex production processes.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial operations.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence methodologies.
Spanish: English: Performance-based bonus.
