Infrastructure Automation Engineer

to join our team for a multinational leader in the banking sector, working in a

highly demanding worldwide environment

.

This is an

infrastructure-focused role (IaaS / on-premise)

, centered on

backup platforms, automation, monitoring and operations

.

Key Responsibilities: Manage and evolve

global backup and restore infrastructures

for servers, databases and NAS services. Ensure

performance, reliability and high availability

of a critical worldwide service. Automate operational processes

using scripting and infrastructure automation tools. Analyze

logs and operational data

to improve monitoring and service quality. Strengthen existing tools and

improve automation frameworks

. Design and propose new services following an “As a Service”

approach. Support global backup teams and internal customers. Participate in

day-to-day operations (MCO)

and evolution projects. Work following

ITIL methodology

, incident remediation and action plans.

Skills: Essential: Strong automation and scripting skills ( Ansible, APIs, Python, Bash ). Strong experience with

monitoring and observability tools

(Grafana, ELK). Experience in

data extraction, transformation and data quality

. Solid

infrastructure background

(servers, storage, production environments). Minimum 3 years’ experience

in a similar infrastructure role. Team player with strong collaboration skills. Experience delivering strategic priorities under strict timelines. Customer service-oriented mindset. High English level (B2/C – mandatory)

. Desirable: Knowledge of

backup architectures

. Basics of

NetBackup and Commvault

. Basics of

tape libraries and Data Domains

. ITIL Foundation

certification.
