A leading organization within the

Data & AI consulting space

is looking for a seasoned and strategic

Data Manager

to drive enterprise data initiatives, oversee cloud data platforms, and coordinate cross-functional delivery teams.

In this role, you will operate at the intersection of business and technology, owning the end-to-end delivery of modern data solutions across Snowflake and multi-cloud environments (AWS and Azure). You will ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, and fully aligned with client objectives.

Key Responsibilities Data Strategy & Cloud Architecture Provide technical leadership to data engineering and analytics teams, promoting scalable pipeline design, robust ETL/ELT frameworks, and strong data modeling practices. Oversee and optimize the modern data stack across cloud platforms. Manage relationships with cloud vendors and continuously assess new tools and capabilities to improve platform performance and scalability.

Project & Team Management Lead full lifecycle delivery of data initiatives, from discovery and requirements gathering through deployment and ongoing support. Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, translating complex data topics into clear business value. Plan and track project timelines, allocate work across data teams, and proactively manage risks and dependencies.

Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in data management, data engineering, or related technical domains. Minimum 2+ years in a leadership, technical lead, or project management capacity. Strong hands-on experience with cloud data ecosystems in

AWS

(e.g., S3, Glue, RDS) and

Microsoft Azure

(e.g., Data Factory, Synapse, Blob Storage). Deep knowledge of

Snowflake and/or Databricks

architecture, including performance optimization, RBAC, and data sharing patterns. Advanced SQL skills and solid proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages used in data engineering.

Preferred Qualifications Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Experience working with BI and visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. Background in Agile delivery environments.
