We are recruiting a newly created role in support of a global food business that is redesigning the indirect procurement function.

The position is part of a significant investment into end-to-end supply chain globally. You will take the lead on designing and implementing procurement strategy, as well as driving process improvements and stakeholder engagement across indirect procurement.

This business is keen to maximise the value of strategic procurement in order to deliver maximum value for consumers globally. You will be in charge of creating indirect procurement processes across key categories including Logistics Capex, MRO, Facilities Management (FM), Site Services, Maintenance, introducing new technologies and tools and working within a new strategic procurement team. The primary mission of this role is to ensure successful customer outcomes and to create long-term value.

The ideal applicant will have strategic sourcing/category management experience within one of the key categories. The role will see you work with a broad range of stakeholders across various business units, so strong influencing and communication skills are essential. The business is growing rapidly so somebody with a keen interest in continuous improvement, utilizing procurement for growth and driving both change and sustainability would be an ideal candidate for this exciting position.

Experience required: Manufacturing industry experience is strongly preferred, for example FMCG, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical or Industrial Manufacturing. English language fluency is essential. Strong strategic sourcing experience in indirect categories. Effective communication across different levels and functions of business Appetite and desire to drive large-scale, transformative change within procurement
