Role - HSE Supervisor (Health, Safety and Environment)

Duration - 1 year/12 month project + Location - Spain, Huelva and some travel to other parts of Basque Country Languages - Spanish Fluent and English B2

G2 Recruitment have partnered with a Global Engineering business that specialise within large scale Water Treatment projects.

They are working on a brand new Water Treatment Plant project for a customer that is based near Huelva, Spain and therefore require an expert HSE Supervisor to join them immediately on this mission.

It would be ideal if you have previous experience in Water Treatment projects but my client can accept chemical processing or oil and gas project experience.

Details of the role: You will be responsible for all Safety, Health & Environment requirements and procedures at the construction site, in accordance with applicable legislation, corporate standards, and client requirements. You will conduct regular on-site safety inspections and Coordinate preventive management with contractors and subcontractors. You will need to verify the correct use of PPE, collective protections, signage, and work permit systems.

Requirements to be considered: Must have EU citizenship/EU Passport and valid rights to work in Europe. Must be able to speak both Spanish Fluently and English B2. Be comfortable with working Monday - Saturday, on site in Huelva, Spain. Must have 3+ years of working experience on Construction Sites as a Safety or HSE Supervisor. Strong understanding of construction procedures and legislations with Spanish regulations. Qualified as a Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention or similar qualification.
