Role Description
We are looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team in Barcelona.
This is a full-time, hybrid role, combining office-based collaboration with flexibility for remote work, depending on business needs.
Your mission will be to identify and engage new business opportunities within the retail and hospitality sectors, connect with decision-makers, understand their operational challenges, and show how SameSystem can help optimise workforce planning and labour cost management.
Key responsibilities
Identifying and generating new leads in target markets
Conducting outreach via calls, emails, and LinkedIn
Qualifying prospects and understanding their business challenges
Positioning SameSystem’s value proposition effectively
Booking meetings and supporting the sales pipeline
Collaborating closely with the sales and customer success teams
Helping drive SameSystem’s growth across Southern Europe and LATAM
This role offers strong exposure to international markets and the opportunity to work with some of the most exciting retail and hospitality brands.
Qualifications
Experience in Business Development, Lead Generation, or Inside Sales for at least 3 years
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Commercial mindset with a results-driven attitude
Comfortable working in a fast-paced SaaS environment
Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) is a plus
Ability to work independently while also collaborating closely with a team
Languages
Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
Additional languages are highly valued, especially:
Portuguese
Italian
French
Because the role supports Southern Europe and LATAM markets, language skills can be a strong competitive advantage when developing business across these regions.
