Senior Frontend Developer

You’ll operate as a senior contributor with ownership mindset, influencing architecture, experience quality, and how the frontend scales over time.

Responsibilities

Drive frontend architecture decisions, evolving a shared component library and design system with a strong focus on consistency, reusability, and maintainability. Take accountability for performance outcomes, including Core Web Vitals, build efficiency, and runtime speed, applying modern techniques within Next.js such as server-side rendering and React Server Components. Design pragmatic state and data-flow patterns, favoring localized state and lightweight solutions while optimizing GraphQL interactions, caching strategies, and client synchronization. Actively improve developer workflows by refining CI/CD processes, enhancing local tooling, and maintaining clear, actionable documentation. Advocate for accessibility and inclusive UX, ensuring interfaces are robust, intuitive, and compliant across browsers, devices, and assistive technologies. Set a high bar for code quality through reviews, testing practices, and architectural standards, while mentoring engineers and promoting strong TypeScript usage.

Requirements

6+ years of extensive professional experience building frontend applications at scale, including several years working deeply with React and TypeScript on complex products. Proven ability to think at a system level, owning features end-to-end and influencing technical direction beyond individual components. Strong understanding of browser behavior, rendering pipelines, and network performance, with a track record of identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks. Mastery of core web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and browser APIs, with the ability to reason about frameworks beyond their abstractions. Hands-on expertise with GraphQL and client-side data management, including efficient API design, caching, and minimizing unnecessary state. Clear communicator and collaborator, comfortable working closely with product and design partners to translate user needs into high-quality technical solutions.
