DevOps Snowflake Engineer

Role: DevOps Snowflake Engineer Contract Position Location: Madrid, Spain (2 to 3days Onsite)

Job Description: · Operate and enhance the Snowflake platform across multiple clouds (Azure, AWS) · Automate infrastructure and Snowflake object deployments with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and support the migration to GitHub. · Ensure secure, compliant connectivity and storage configuration in Azure (and emerging AWS workloads). · Optimize Snowflake usage around cost, performance, and scalability. · Collaborate with security, networking, and data teams to align platform capabilities with business needs. · Actively participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies and cross-team collaboration initiatives. Required Technical Skills · Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud Engineering, including networking (VNETs, routing, DNS, private endpoints), identity, and storage. · Experience operating and administering Snowflake: · Warehouses, RBAC, databases, schemas, resource monitors · External tables, stages, integrations (Azure mainly) · Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell). · Understanding of enterprise cloud networking and security best practices. · Experience with observability and audit logging tools. · Familiarity with Agile/Safe methodologies.
