We are looking for an
Azure Cloud Administrator
for a project based in Valência.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for delivering Microsoft Azure cloud technical expertise, including the design, implementation and on-going support of Azure solutions.
Review and manage technical requirements and business functional requirements to establish new cloud platforms and infrastructures.
Work in close collaboration with the remaining cloud teams in the operational activities, by taking ownership of Microsoft Azure related technologies.
Work in close collaboration with other technical teams including Information Security, Network, Service Management, etc.
Draft technical documentation on the Azure services and related procedures and operations.
Keep abreast of Azure good practices, new trends and services technologies and evaluate these for possible adoption or incorporation.
Requirements:
At least
5 years
of relevant IT experience with significant exposure to
Azure cloud services
during last 3 years.
Solid understanding of
Microsoft Azure
service structure (enrolments, departments, accounts, subscriptions, resource groups) and core features.
Sound conceptual and hands-on knowledge of key
Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS services
(virtual machines, app services, databases, networking, storage, key vaults, etc.).
Hands-on experience on Infrastructure as Code and Automation (
Terraform, PowerShell scripting, Azure Automation
).
Hands-on experience on
CI/CD
practices and
DevOps
tools (
Azure DevOps, Pipelines, Repos, Visual Studio Code, etc
.).
Understanding of DevSecOps principles.
Hands-on experience on
Kusto Query Language
.
Hands-on experience in the definition and deployment of Landing Zones, including hub & spoke networks.
Sound conceptual & hands-on knowledge of cloud security, including tools such as
Microsoft Defender
for Cloud and
Azure policies
.
Experience with
Azure Virtual Desktops
.
Knowledge of general architecture, deployment and administration methodologies and techniques including systems configurations, networking, OS administration (Windows/Linux), monitoring, security, etc.
Deep understanding on how to Architect in the cloud with a Design for Failure Approach.
Technical leadership of Azure projects is required.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Good level of
English
is mandatory.
