Accountant

Spanish Branch of Multinational Healhtcare company is looking for an accountant in Madrid. This position is responsible for accurate accounting and providing an outstanding support related to Bank accounts, cashflow & asset management, payments and reporting in compliance with Company's Mission, Vision and People Strategy.

Responsibilities: Monthly invoices accounting and control of their reception Reconciles bank accounts by gathering and balancing information. Accounting for customer receipts and payments. Bad debt Collection Expense reports: reception, checking, accounting and payment Maintains general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable detail and control accounts; adjusting entries for amortizations; prepaids; analyzing and reconciling retainage and accounts payable ledgers; preparing fixed asset depreciation and accruals. Maintains accounting controls by following policies and procedures; complying local financial legal requirements. Provides financial status information by preparing special reports; completing special projects. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications. Prepare sales out and market reports in excel and others for decision making Collaborate in the preparation of company taxes. Communication and interaction with other departments within the company. Marketing and Sales, Customer Service and Distribution. Contribute to department and organization special projects as assigned.

Work Experience Requirements Number of Overall Years Necessary: 3-5 Education Requirements Degree in economics Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of SAP and Excel (advanced) Local Specifications (English and Local Language): Spanish / English professional level
