The Role

We’re hiring an

Applied AI / Clinical Data Scientist

with

~5+ years of experience

to help build and scale the core intelligence behind Punto. You’ll work on two of the hardest and most exciting problems in healthcare AI: Speech-based biomarkers

for early detection of cognitive decline LLM-powered AI assistants

that support patients, carers, and clinicians This is a

hands-on role

. You’ll move between research, experimentation, and production systems — working directly with our engineers, clinicians, and founders. If you want to work on

What You’ll Work On

Digital biomarkers Build and improve ML models for detecting cognitive decline from speech and behavioural data Work with longitudinal clinical datasets Design validation studies with hospitals and research partners AI assistants Develop and evaluate

LLM-based assistants

supporting patients and carers Work on retrieval, evaluation, safety, and real-world deployment AI systems Design and deploy ML pipelines and production models Work with engineering to ship models into real products Help build and structure one of the largest cognitive health datasets being created

What We’re Looking For

Experience ~5+ years in

data science, applied ML, or AI Experience building and deploying

ML models in production Experience working with

real-world datasets

(messy, noisy, longitudinal) Technical Strong Python and ML stack (PyTorch / TensorFlow / sklearn) Strong statistics and model validation skills Experience with cloud environments and ML workflows GenAI Familiarity with

LLMs and generative AI Experience building or evaluating

AI assistants, RAG systems, or LLM applications

is a strong plus Bonus Speech, NLP, healthcare, or clinical research experience Experience with experimental design or clinical validation Languages English and Spanish required Catalan is a plus
