EWM Consultant

Project: Migration from SAP WM to SAP EWM on S/4HANA Client: Pharma (Spain) Start Date: ASAP (immediate or within 2 weeks)

We are looking for experienced SAP EWM professionals to join a critical S/4HANA EWM migration project for a Pharma client. Candidates may be considered for SAP EWM Lead or Senior SAP EWM Consultant roles depending on experience and seniority.

Role Overview The selected consultants will support (and in the case of the Lead, drive) the design, configuration, integration, and implementation of SAP EWM in a highly automated warehouse environment. The project is entering the Realization phase, with tight timelines and strong business visibility.

Key Responsibilities (Responsibilities will scale based on seniority — Lead vs Senior Consultant) Core Responsibilities (all profiles) Analyse, design and configure SAP EWM processes across inbound, outbound, returns, inventory, master data, RF, and internal warehouse operations. Prepare, review and validate functional documentation. Support creation of technical specifications (no development required). Collaborate in integration activities with warehouse automation systems (MFS, conveyors, robotics, test equipment). Participate in functional testing (SIT/UAT), defect resolution and cutover readiness. Join periodic onsite workshops in Barcelona (not full-time onsite).

Additional Responsibilities for the SAP EWM Lead Act as functional and technical authority for the EWM stream. Lead design decisions and ensure process consistency end-to-end. Coordinate with business and technical teams to ensure successful Realization and Go-Live preparation. Oversee testing progress, cutover planning and key Go‑Live deliverables. Provide guidance and support to other EWM team members.

Required Skills & Experience For all candidates (Lead & Senior Consultants) Strong hands-on experience in SAP EWM on S/4HANA. Experience in pharma or pharma distribution environments. Exposure to warehouse automation and/or MFS integration. Hybrid functional + technical capabilities (autonomy in technical topics; no development required). Fluent in Spanish (mandatory). Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced project with tight deadlines. Availability for occasional onsite presence in Barcelona.

Additional Requirements for the SAP EWM Lead Extensive seniority (typically 8+ years in SAP EWM). Proven leadership of EWM workstreams in complex implementations. Strong decision-making and cross-team coordination skills.

Requirements for Senior Consultants 5–7+ years of SAP EWM experience. Ability to own functional areas independently (inbound/outbound/returns/etc.).

Location Remote, with periodic onsite workshops in Barcelona.
