Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role based in Barcelona, where you will be responsible for driving sales and fostering relationships with clients in both French and English-speaking markets. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and pursuing sales leads, maintaining relationships with existing clients, conducting market research, and promoting Base Aparthotels' services. You will also collaborate with the team to develop sales strategies and contribute to achieving company revenue targets.
Qualifications
Fluency in both French and English, with excellent communication and presentation skills in both languages
Experience in sales, customer relationship management, and client engagement
Proficiency in market research and data analysis to identify industry trends and opportunities
Strong organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Proficiency in relevant software tools such as CRM platforms and office productivity tools
Previous experience in the hospitality or travel industry is a plus
Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field preferred
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development (Primary Focus)
Develop and manage corporate, relocation, and long-stay accounts
Build and maintain a structured sales pipeline using a CRM
Identify and secure new B2B opportunities
Negotiate key contracts and group bookings
Drive occupancy and ADR growth through proactive sales strategies
Collaborate with marketing to support lead generation
Reservations Oversight
Supervise and guide the Reservations Agent
Monitor booking performance and conversion metrics
Ensure accuracy and service quality across all channels
