Failure Analysis Engineer
who’s passionate about uncovering the root of technical issues and driving continuous improvement in a dynamic, international environment.

Responsibilities
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on complex electronic and mechatronic systems returned from customers or internal manufacturing. Your findings will be essential for the quality team for defining improvements and resolving failure modes.
Work cross-functionally with quality, development, and manufacturing teams to resolve issues and improve product reliability.
Responsible for defining and implementing containment actions to manage non-conforming products and support smooth production flow.
Translate your findings into actionable improvements for future product development and process optimization.
What do you bring?
Bachelor’s degree (BSc or BEng) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Keen attention to detail and a hands-on approach to technical challenges.
High sense of ownership and accountability for your work.
Effective team player with commitment to shared goals.
Fluent in English (written and verbal).
Genuine interest in electronics and product quality.
Who is Xelvin?

What do we offer?
Contract wise:
A 14-month contract, after which you will get a permanent contract at the customer.
A salary between €3500,- and €5000,- gross a month
27 paid holidays a year (+ potential ADV days)
Public holidays, with a maximum of 7 per year, which are paid by Xelvin
Holiday allowance of 8.33%
Overtime and shift allowance will be paid by Xelvin accordingly
Travel allowance per km, for the use of traveling to work and back home
Onboarding & benefits
Your 1st house in the Netherlands will be arranged by Xelvin, with the help of our Housing Consultant. In case of having to pay the 1st months’ rent or potential deposit, Xelvin is willing to pay it for you upfront, after which we’ll set up a loan agreement, for you to pay us back in terms.
A relocation assistance allowance will be paid to you, to cover the cost of relocating to the Netherlands.
You (and your family) will be picked up at the airport or train station and will be taken to your new house.
Onboarding: we’ll advise you on how to set up a Dutch bank account, apply for health insurance, getting a Dutch BSN number, registering at a dentist and general practitioner and other useful or necessary cases to arrange.
A few social gatherings in the year with all Xelvin employees and recruited engineers.
