What We’re Looking For
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Systems Engineer
with a strong background in spacecraft systems engineering. The ideal candidate will take on technical leadership responsibilities within assigned projects or proposals and contribute to the development of advanced space systems following MBSE principles and ECSS standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead systems engineering activities across spacecraft missions and proposals.
Analyse technical data, verify configurations, and ensure alignment with system constraints, operational needs, and ECSS engineering processes.
Provide cross-functional technical support on spacecraft subsystems and interdisciplinary issues.
Contribute to the definition and verification of spacecraft system architectures.
Prepare technical documentation covering system requirements, design, verification, and implementation.
Support integration and testing tasks at subsystem and system level.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality and performance across all engineering phases.
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of experience in relevant systems engineering roles.
Knowledge of MBSE working philosophy.
Detailed understanding of spacecraft systems and subsystems.
Knowledge of mechanical, thermal, radiation, or propulsion systems.
Experience using space engineering analysis and design tools such as CATIA, NASTRAN/PATRAN, ESATAN, FASTRAD.
Hands‑on approach to cross-functional technical challenges.
Understanding of New Space approaches and techniques.
Knowledge of low‑level integration and testing techniques.
Experience writing technical and project documentation.
Expertise in analysing technical data and verifying system configurations in accordance with ECSS methodologies.
⭐ Optional / Nice-to-Have
Knowledge of MBSE tools such as Capella or Valispace.
Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages.
