We’re currently seeking a
Indirect Buyer
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :
Working under the supervision of a Senior Buyer, the Buyer is responsible about the Purchasing Strategy executions on his / her commodities; aligned with the Global Purchasing Strategy, processes and rules of the group.
Fora dedicated perimeter, based on guidance given by his/her Senior Buyer and recommendation from Commodity Lead Buyers (CLB), the Buyer is fully responsible for managing his/her supplier base
The Buyer is responsible about the Operational Performance KPIs achievement, and supplier action plan follow up in case of deviation.
The Buyer is in close contact with the Senior Buyer and CLBs to ensure the Purchasing Strategy execution and Performance review.
The Buyer is responsible about the Productivity Plan definition and execution with suppliers, in relation operations.
The Buyer is responsible about the Budget definition, execution and reporting on his perimeter
Is the Purchasing window for operations.
He/ She is the first contact in case of escalation
Is working in close collaboration with the CLB
Provides reporting follow-up,
Provides feedbacks from the suppliers and suggests innovative solutions to his / her manager or the Commodity Lead Buyers concerned,
Conducts annual negotiations (other than those managed by the Commodity Lead Buyers),
Must apply all QSE² procedures and operating instructions within the framework of operations linked to his/her job and the rules defined by the Group.
Agrees to act in accordance with the ethical rules of the Group.
REQUIREMENTS :
Qualifications et Experience
A Bachelor’s degree reinforced 3 years’ experience minimum in Purchasing in the manufacturing sector
Professional abilities
Listening, Enthusiasm, Team spirit,Perseverance, Networking, Decision making, Communication
Multitask abilities & capacity to prioritize
Abilities to organize and coordinate meetings
Knowledge in finance & cash management
English Fluent, Spanish Fluent, Portuguese and French are a plus
Good IT skills: Office, SAP
Able to travel in foreign countries
Technical knowledge
Results-oriented, with QCDP mindset
Purchasing process knowledge
Supply base management
Management of RFQ processes& sourcing
Contracts management (negotiation, legal,)
Localization:
Vigo, Spain – support for 4 plants in the Iberian region
