Job Objective:
The Quality & Compliance Specialist will provide support in the preparation, coordination, and submission of PPAP documentation for automotive customers. The role will also be responsible for ensuring product compliance with applicable regulations regarding hazardous substances, as well as supporting the management and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System. Additionally, this position will coordinate and monitor the training program for direct employees.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Compliance & Hazardous Substances
Monitor and ensure compliance with regulations related to restricted or hazardous substances (e.g., REACH, RoHS, IMDS, SCIP).
Maintain and update product material declarations and databases.
Support customers with compliance-related inquiries and reporting.
2. Quality Systems Management
Support the maintenance and improvement of the Quality Management System (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
Plan, execute, and document internal audits (system & process).
Support external audits (certification bodies, customers, corporate).
Follow up on corrective actions and verify their effectiveness.
Participate in cross-functional quality improvement initiatives.
3. Training Program Coordination
Organize training sessions, maintain training records, and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
Monitor training effectiveness and support continuous improvement of the program.
Give support and train operators and trainers.
4. PPAP Support (Automotive Sector)
Prepare, review, and maintain PPAP documentation according to customer and industry requirements.
Coordinate with internal departments to gather necessary data (process capability, control plans, FMEAs, material certifications, etc.).
Ensure timely submission of PPAP packages and follow up on approvals.
Support customer-specific requirements related to product validation and documentation.
5. Sustainability Platforms & Customer Quality Requirements:
Keep updated sustainability platforms as Sedex, Ecovadis, etc.
Complete and follow-up Customer Quality Requirements as: Quality Agreements, Customer Score Cards, Quality Questionnaires…
Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Quality Management, or related field.
Knowledge in automotive quality processes (PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control Plans).
Knowledge of compliance regulations related to hazardous substances (REACH, RoHS, IMDS, SCIP).
Familiarity with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
Preferred Skills
Experience with customer portals and automotive documentation systems.
Training or auditing certifications (internal auditor, core tools, etc.).
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
