We are currently recruiting for a
Logistics Specialist
based in Spain. Location:
Remote in Spain, ideally in major cities
Proactive Guidance: Provide clients with clear sample shipment instructions, including packaging standards, labeling requirements, and pickup scheduling procedures.
Schedule on-demand pickup services for clients, coordinating with logistics providers (e.g., Serve as the primary logistics liaison for clients during the shipment process, addressing all inquiries regarding transit times, tracking, customs clearance, and related matters.
End-to-End Shipment Monitoring & Issue Resolution
Full Journey Tracking: Monitor real-time status of client shipments from pickup, transit, and customs clearance through to final delivery at the laboratory.
Exception Management: Proactively identify issues such as shipping delays, customs holds, or missing documentation, and promptly coordinate with customs authorities, logistics providers, clearance agents, and internal teams for resolution.
Client Communication Bridge: Provide transparent and timely updates to clients in case of logistics issues, effectively managing their expectations.
Document Pre-review: commercial invoice, packing list, product description) prior to shipment to ensure accuracy and prevent clearance delays.
Compliance Advisory: Ensure clients are aware of and adhere to relevant regulations for the international transport of biological samples.
Maintain regular communication with contracted logistics providers to manage pickup appointments, service complaints, and optimize shipping solutions and costs.
Gather logistics-related feedback from clients and internal teams, and contribute to the development and optimization of client shipment processes to enhance overall efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Preference for degrees in Logistics, International Trade, Life Sciences, or related fields.

Minimum 1 year of experience in international express/logistics customer service, operations, or a related role, with direct client communication and resolution of logistics issues.
Familiarity with basic import/export customs clearance procedures in key European countries (e.g., Prior experience in the biological or related industry's logistics, with knowledge of sample transportation specifics, is preferred.

Language: Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and spoken) is required. Knowledge of Chinese is a plus.
Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills: patient, clear, proactive, and able to explain logistics processes and handle issues in a client-friendly manner.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; capable of data consolidation and analysis.
