Innovation Manager Driving execution, scaling and adoption of innovation initiatives

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Innovation Lead to join our Innovation team in Madrid, Spain. This role is designed to work in close partnership with the Innovation Director, acting as a key execution counterpart in cross-functional high-impact team. The position focuses on turning strategic innovation priorities into tangible products, projects, programs and capabilities, supporting the scaling of innovation initiatives in Spain and across our international delegations. The successful candidate will bring strong business design capabilities, hands-on execution skills, and a practical, curious approach to applying innovation and AI to real business challenges.

Partner with the Innovation Director to translate innovation strategy and vision into concrete roadmaps, initiatives and pilots. Design, test and iterate products, services and business models aligned with corporate growth objectives. Lead customer and user research and convert insights into actionable prototypes, journeys, service blueprints and value propositions. Act as a hands-on facilitator and coach for teams involved in innovation initiatives, supporting them through change.

Work closely with global and local teams to ensure alignment and consistency across regions. Apply and promote lean, agile and digital-first methodologies in day-to-day work.

Support AI literacy and training initiatives, helping teams understand and adopt AI responsibly. Stay curious and up to date on AI developments, with the ability to assess relevance and impact rather than just trends.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus. ~8–10+ years of experience in business transformation, innovation, strategy consulting or program delivery in complex or multinational environments. ~ Solid background in service design, lean startup, agile or similar business design frameworks. ~ Practical experience applying AI, automation or digital tools to real business challenges. ~ Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills. ~ Excellent communication and stackeholder management skills in English and Spanish. ~ Experience in innovative education or learning environments will be highly valued, especially where new business models, digital products or pedagogical innovation were involved.
