As a

Womenswear Fashion Designer , you will be responsible for designing and developing garments aligned with Desigual’s creative vision, brand DNA and business needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as Product Development, Buying and Production to ensure collections are innovative, commercially relevant and aligned with seasonal concepts and trends.

Requirements Degree in Fashion Design or related field Previous experience of minimum 5 years in fashion design Strong knowledge of fabrics, materials and garment construction techniques Ability to interpret trends and translate them into commercial and brand-aligned designs Advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop High level of creativity combined with strong product sensibility and commercial awareness Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Proactive attitude and strong teamwork mindset Fluent Spanish & English

Key Responsibilities Design and develop garments aligned with seasonal concepts, brand identity and market needs Create mood boards, colour palettes, prints, graphics and technical sketches for collections Research trends, fabrics, materials and new techniques to ensure innovative and competitive product proposals Work closely with Product Development and Buying teams to ensure designs are aligned with price positioning and business strategy Follow up garment development from concept to final sample, ensuring quality and design integrity Collaborate with suppliers and production teams to ensure feasibility and correct execution of designs Prepare technical documentation and support fittings when required Monitor competitors and market trends to identify opportunities and product improvements Ensure collections respect timing, calendar milestones and internal processes
