We are looking for a

German Senior Project Manager

to lead complex, high-impact projects for a global professional services leader. This is a

full-time, long-term freelance mission

designed for someone who excels at bridging the gap between high-level client strategy and flawless creative execution.

The Challenge As a Senior Project Manager, you will be the engine behind the project lifecycle. Your mission is to translate complex client briefings into actionable tasks for creative and production teams. You will own the financial performance, resource planning, and risk mitigation of every project, ensuring that top-tier standards are met while maintaining clear communication with international stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Full Lifecycle Steering:

Lead projects from inception to completion, managing scope, dependencies, and quality assurance. Requirements Translation:

Transform abstract client visions into clear, technical, and creative roadmaps. Strategic Planning:

Develop detailed cost estimations, precise timelines, and staffing plans (expert-level Excel is a must). Financial Stewardship:

Manage budget tracking, financial performance, and cost control throughout the project. Stakeholder Management:

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, presenting status updates and managing expectations with authority. Coordination:

Orchestrate feedback loops and ensure total alignment between diverse internal teams and external production partners.

Requirements (Must-Have) Language Mastery:

Native German (C2)

and fluent

English (C1/C2)

are mandatory for this multicultural environment. Proven Experience:

Senior background as a Project Manager, ideally within a

consulting or agency

setting. Technical Planning:

Advanced expertise in project planning methodologies ( Agile or Waterfall ) and financial tracking. Communication Skills:

Exceptional ability to present complex concepts and lead high-level client meetings. Execution Focus:

A strong track record of identifying risks early and steering projects through challenging dependencies.

Nice-to-Have Certifications:

PMP or PRINCE2 certification. Software Proficiency:

Hands-on experience with Jira, Asana, or Monday.com. Industry Background:

Previous experience in marketing, advertising, or creative industries. Global Exposure:

Experience working with international clients and cross-cultural teams.
