What You’ll Do •

Work with us on your Master’s thesis in close contact with the founder and with the support of the team. • ✍️ Write reports and blog posts showcasing your work to the world. • ‍ Write clean, maintainable, and high-performance code (Go, Rust, or Solidity). •

Design and execute tests to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of your software. •

Profile and benchmark to crush latency and resource usage. • ️ Own the full software lifecycle: requirements, design, architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.

About You •

Master’s student in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related technical field. •

Living in the north of Spain and able to commute to León once every couple of weeks. •

Comfortable working day-to-day in English. •

Pragmatic decision-maker: able to evaluate trade-offs based on constraints. • ️ Able to work independently with minimal supervision. •

Experience with at least two of C/C++, Go, Rust, or Python. • ️ Experience with databases and Git. •

Experience with Docker and containers. •

Familiar with blockchain fundamentals, consensus algorithms, smart contracts, peer-to-peer networks, and data structures such as Merkle trees. •

International experience living abroad.

Thesis Topics •

Implementation of a Hash Time-Locked Contracts (HTLC) protocol over two EVM-compatible blockchains. •

Integration of ECDSA threshold signatures in a wallet. • ️ Implementation of a cybersecurity algorithm to prevent address-poisoning scams. •

Implementation of a Rust-based indexer directly reading the Ethereum state. •
