Position: SAP Ariba Consultant / Managed Gateway Spend Network Location: 100% Remote (within Spain) Duration: Permanent/ Freelance

Description This role involves supporting the

greenfield implementation of SAP S/4HANA and Ariba

for a leading consumer goods company. The global template has already been defined, and the project is now in the rollout phase for

Benelux and Ecuador . The consultant will be responsible for designing and configuring RICEFW objects, and leading multiple Ariba integration processes with SAP ECC and S/4HANA. The role includes full functional responsibility, from requirement gathering through testing, configuration, defect resolution, training, and user support.

Key Responsibilities Ariba & SAP Integration Responsibilities Implement

Ariba Strategic Sourcing

integrations with SAP ECC/S4 (Purchase Info Record creation, Purchase Order creation, Contract creation, Material Master upload). Implement

Ariba SLP

integrations with SAP ECC/S4 using middleware (CPI) for Business Partner creation & modification. Implement

Ariba Procurement

integration scenarios (Procure-to-Pay integrations from Guided Buying to ERP). Implement

SAP Business Network

integrations with SAP ECC/S4 (Commerce Automation). Configure

Managed Gateway for Spend and Network

(integration projects, mappings, cross-references, lookup tables). Set up

Ariba Integration

via middleware (CPI) between Managed Gateway and SAP ECC. Configure

Cloud Connector

for Ariba integration. Perform SAP ECC customization in the Managed Gateway Add-On. Functional & Project Responsibilities Define functional designs and collaborate with superusers and technical client teams to gather business requirements. Execute system configuration and ensure alignment with functional specifications. Resolve defects identified during testing phases. Deliver “train-the-trainer” sessions. Act as the primary point of contact for superusers and end-user queries. Provide functional support during critical project phases and go-live.

Must-Have Skills: Ariba Strategic Sourcing with SAP ECC / S/4HANA Ariba SLP with SAP ECC / S/4HANA using middleware (CPI) Ariba Procurement with SAP ECC / S/4HANA SAP Business Network with SAP ECC / S/4HANA (Commerce Automation)

Mandatory – fluency required (minimum B2). Spanish or Dutch: Nice to have (not mandatory).
