Field Research Scientist

I am partnered with a high growth start-up who are developing a full-stack quantum computer. Their approach utilises trapped-ion technologies, pushing the current limits of classical physics. We are looking for a Senior Application Engineer who will work at the intersection of customers, markets, products, strategy and innovation. You will be the face of inspiration to clients, explaining strategy, portfolio and answering technical questions about quantum portfolio, and quantum applications. • You will lead client discussions, inspiring them to see how quantum applications can be implemented in their business domain. This will include working through business needs, mapping quantum algorithms into application code and executing proof-of-concepts. • Masters degree in something related to quantum computing or STEM related field • Hands on experience with Qiskit or other quantum computing SDK • Proficiency in Python • Expertise with “full stack skills” across various technologies
