We are seeking a technically trained and commercially experienced Junior Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and working closely with our technical team to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
โข Manage and grow the client portfolio across Iberia (Spain and Portugal)
โข Prepare commercial proposals and follow up on orders
โข Support the preparation of client meetings and presentations
โข Identify and pursue new business opportunities
โข Representing the company at industry fairs and events
โข Coordinate with internal departments (Logistics, Engineering, Marketing)
๏ Requirements
โข Degree in Engineering preferred (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field preferred)
โข 2-3 years of experience in commercial roles or as a sales assistant
โข Strong communication skills and customer-oriented mindset
โข Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently
โข Fluent in Spanish and English (additional Portuguese languages are a plus)
โข Willingness to travel
๏ Commercial & Administrative Skills
โข Experience managing documentation: contracts, orders, certificates, tenders
โข Ability to prepare compelling commercial proposals
โข Familiarity with delivery tracking, claims handling, and logistics coordination (preferred)
๏ Digital Competencies
โข Proficient in advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM/ERP platforms such as SAP or Salesforce
โข Capable of generating sales reports, market analysis, and forecasts
๏ Client Relationship Management
โข Skilled in maintaining long-term relationships with clients (EPCs, utilities, distributors)
โข Experience in technical customer support, issue resolution, and post-sales service
๏ Availability & Flexibility
โข Willing to travel occasionally across Spain, Portugal, and potentially other European countries
โข Comfortable working across different cultures and time zones
