portfolio. We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with a startup mindset to

develop casings for near-eye display

devices and

individual mounts for optical and electronic components

. Define spatial requirements, mounting and integration methods for optical and electronic components Work with optical designers and electronics engineers to integrate the near-eye display Conduct FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulations to optimize mechanical strength, weight distribution, and heat management Work closely with the manufacturing team and product engineer to fulfil DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles Work with electronics designers to develop component housing ensuring heat dissipation and electromagnetic insulation and shielding Research and select materials with required mechanical, thermal and electrical properties that are cost effective and compatible with large scale manufacturing Prototyping & Testing Rapidly create and iterate on prototypes using methods such as 3D printing and run tests to validate the mechanical designs

CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or Fusion 360) FEA/CFD simulation tools (e.g. Knowledge of properties of polymers, composites and metals commonly used in wearable/consumer electronics Experience with additive manufacturing (SLA, FDM and SLS 3D printing), CNC machining, and rapid prototyping tools Understanding of design for large-scale manufacturing techniques (e.g. injection moulding)

Master’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in consumer electronics, wearable devices and/or AR/VR hardware Professional working level of English
