Medical Physicist Salary:

$174,000 - $254,000 annually

Job Responsibilities: Provide expertise in medical physics within a clinical environment, ensuring optimal application of therapy physics. Conduct quality assurance procedures and performance evaluations on radiological equipment. Collaborate with clinical teams for patient treatment planning and delivery. Participate in the development and implementation of safety protocols. Stay updated with the latest advancements in medical technologies and treatments. Provide mentorship and training to junior staff and interns in the field of medical physics. Perform regular assessments and audits of equipment and treatment processes. Document and report findings in accordance with regulatory standards and internal policies. Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure compliance with national and local safety regulations. Work with stakeholders to enhance patient care and treatment outcomes.

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited institution in medical physics or a related field. ABR/CCPM Board certification or Board eligible in therapy physics.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a clinical setting. Maximum of 1 year of relevant experience is acceptable.

Skills: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening or weekend hours. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality assurance in medical physics practices.
