The Field Implementation Specialist is a national position that serves as the primary liaison representative providing post-sales customer support during the installation, implementation, and training of clinical chemistry and immunoassay analyzers/ instruments at customer sites.
You will be mentored to provide highly visible, self-supervised, self-directed, and extensive onsite advisory customer support. While some job tasks may be performed remotely, this is a field-based, national role which requires 95% travel to client sites, including overnight travel Mon-Fri every week.
The Opportunity
Learns and provides entry-level support as the primary liaison/customer support representative throughout each customer implementation
Validates analyzer installations
Identify training gaps by assessing customers' organizational structure, analyzers/instruments, workflow, and current knowledge/experience
Develops and delivers training to customers on customer platforms, processes and expectations, including planning and coordination for implementation
Provides first-level and problem solving of issues that arise for customers during the lifecycle of the solution; refers only the most complex issues to higher levels
Identifies opportunities for new system consumables for clients (i.e. reagents, primary antibodies, bio-markers, software)
This is a field based role
Who You Are
Associate’s degree in Medical Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Clinical Laboratory Sciences
3 years previous experience in a clinical laboratory or IT support in a clinical lab environment
ASCP Certification
Preferences
Ability and willingness to rapidly gain and apply new knowledge, solutions, and skills for chemistry and IT solutions
Effective customer communication skills (written and verbal), positive attitude, helpful customer interaction, and fostering of strong internal and external customer relationships
Effective time-management, organization, and prioritization skills
Ability to work as a field-based individual contributor with independence and autonomy
