PostgreSQL Advocate

PostgreSQL Advocate:

• 15 + years of experience with deep knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture, features, and common issues
• Assisting customers with database design, performance tuning, query optimization, upgrades, patching, deployments, test data management and data migration involving PostgreSQL
• Act as the primary point of contact between customers and the PostgreSQL engineering or support teams
• Liaising with Product managers to identify and define product vision/roadmap
• Help customers troubleshoot PostgreSQL-related issues or escalate critical problems to appropriate technical teams
• Collaborate with account managers and sales teams to align customer needs with product capabilities.
• Develop and maintain customer-facing documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base articles related to PostgreSQL
• Attending conferences and delivering training sessions or webinars to educate customers about PostgreSQL features and how to solve common issues
• Report on customer satisfaction, support outcomes, and product feedback to internal stakeholders
• Collect and analyze customer feedback regarding PostgreSQL product features and support quality
• Be a part of the PostgreSQL Community and forums
