Installation Surveyor – London – Up to £41,000 Location: London Salary: £41,000 + Van + Benefits Contract: Full-time, Permanent Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (45 hours per week) About the Company My client is a long-established building services provider with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality mechanical, electrical, and property maintenance solutions to both public and private sector clients. About the Role My client is looking for an experienced Installation Surveyor to join a growing maintenance and installations team.
This is a key position responsible for carrying out accurate property surveys, gathering all relevant technical data, and ensuring all repair and installation works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You’ll play an important role in supporting gas and heating service operations — from pre-inspection and planning through to quality checks and final audits — ensuring compliance, customer satisfaction, and excellent service delivery. Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed site surveys for new or replacement heating systems and boiler installations Prepare accurate reports, technical documentation, and cost assessments Coordinate material and resource requirements to meet project schedules Liaise with administration and site teams to arrange access and scheduling Ensure that safety inspections (gas, electrical, asbestos, legionella) are identified and completed before work commences Monitor subcontractor performance, stock levels, and quality standards Perform in-progress and post-installation audits to ensure compliance with company and manufacturer specifications Provide regular status updates and reports to the Contracts and Installation Managers Support engineers on-site and assist with resolving technical or operational challenges Ensure all works are delivered within agreed timescales, budgets, and compliance requirements About You You’ll be a proactive and detail-focused professional with strong technical knowledge of domestic heating systems and installation processes.
You’ll have experience within the social housing, local authority, or property maintenance sectors, and take pride in delivering safe, high-quality work. You will have: Experience in heating, installation, or technical surveying Strong understanding of Health
