Inventory Control Specialist
at our
Wessem site . You’ll be the go-to expert for inventory accuracy, helping us deliver seamless operations, from reconciling discrepancies to driving data integrity, keeping everything on track. What You Do On a Typical Day
Runs inventory report using the appropriate inventory query from WMS program and transfers data to Count Sheet template and shared network
Perform end of month, end of quarter, cycle, and physical counts of inventory
Ensure ongoing inventory accuracy
Coordinate the timing of file extracts, reconciliation program and adjustments to meet host processing and warehouse operational needs
Investigate, resolve, and prevent inventory discrepancies by reviewing transaction history in the WMS (Warehouse Management System)
Correct back routes/re-routes and shipping errors
Create and distribute daily inventory reconciliation reports, inventory adjustment summaries, warehouse productivity reports, and warehouse error reports
Coordinate and monitor automated stock transfers. Perform other duties as assigned
Work safely as per GXO Health & Safety trainings, standards, procedures and processes and actively contribute to a safer work environment for colleagues and visitors
Contribute to structural reduction of negative environmental impact from usage of natural resources and emissions and contribute to environmental performance initiatives
Adhere to applicable legal requirements, GXO and industry standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
What You Need To Succeed At GXO
Intermediate Vocational Education in logistics, supply chain management or equivalent is required
A demonstrable track record of success within operations handling inventory processes in a Logistics environment
Knowledge and experience of WMS (Blue Yonder would be a distinct advantage)
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Knowledge of English as a professional language; knowledge of Dutch is an advantage
Good knowledge and experience of LEAN Warehousing processes
