Verduurzaming Expert met doorgroeimogelijkheden - Onze Joost

Overview Be among the first applicants for a role focused on sustainability and energy transition. The programme trains you to become a Verduurzaming Expert and offers a path to the EP-W (Energieprestatie Woningen) Advisor role.

Responsibilities

Inform and advise residents about smart and green measures (e.g., solar panels, heat pumps, insulation) and discuss costs and subsidies.

Visit residents at home by appointment and support the internal team in Haarlem (office-based tasks, preparing quotes, answering questions by phone or email, and recording advice in the software system).

Participate in the Energy Performance of Homes training during and after field visits; perform inspections and data collection to support energy label calculations.

Work towards becoming an Energieprestatie Adviseur Woningen (EP-W) and, upon diploma, be able to create energy labels in addition to your Verduurzaming Expert duties.

Potential for long-term employment with the client after a successful trial period.

Requirements

Strong commitment to sustainability and affinity with building technology and energy efficiency.

Minimum MBO4 level of work and thinking skills.

Excellent social and communication skills.

Driver's license (B).

Motivation to learn a new profession; prior energy coaching experience is helpful but not required.

Available from October 2025.

About the role As a Verduurzaming Expert you will inform and advise residents on practical, green measures and subsidies. You will visit homes by appointment, discuss options and budgets, and support the back-office team with quotes, inquiries, and data entry in the software system. The Energy Performance of Homes training will teach you how to calculate energy labels, including inspecting the building envelope, installations, surfaces, and insulation, and performing measurements and calculations for reporting.

The employer, Onze Joost, operates as a trainer and contractor and places staff with clients in the Randstad region and beyond. The role requires travel to Haarlem and occasional travel to client sites as needed.
