About the Team The Controlling department of MediaMarkt Benelux consists of four teams: Financial Controlling, Commercial Controlling, Operational Controlling, and Procurement Controlling. The Financial Controlling team provides insights into the financial performance of all departments in the Benelux region and manages the planning and control cycle for this region. Your Role As Senior Commercial Controller, you are responsible for ensuring insight into the commercial performance and position of MediaMarkt Benelux. You will monitor and analyze short- and long-term developments regarding the position and objectives of our organization. Participate in the month-end close cycle by analyzing and reporting on the monthly results Ensure a strong administrative organization and internal control around the daily, weekly, and monthly processes within the Commercial department Manage the monthly forecast process around any financial changes in the month that affect the results of current and coming months Comply with various reports from the head office in Germany Analyze results and discuss them with the Head of Controlling and senior leadership Participate in ad-hoc and process optimization projects Your Profile You are an analytically excellent professional with a strong sense of ownership You are comfortable working with large models and data sets and are proficient in Excel A background in retail, wholesale, or logistics is a plus You have a strong vision of your field but are open to new ideas and insights You are a natural advisory stakeholder manager You can handle deadlines and a fast-paced work environment You feel comfortable in a large organization with a dynamic work environment You are accurate, entrepreneurial, and have an excellent command of English (both verbally and in writing) Completed master or bachelor degree At least 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience RC, RA, CMA, CIMA, CFA accreditations are welcome Your career shows that you have both talent and ambition Focus on ‘getting things done’, self-starter, organizationally strong, and top analyst Mature interlocutor at all organizational levels About Us We are number one in Benelux and Europe.
