Looking for your next big move in logistics? This won’t be your typical logistics job, and we’re not your typical forwarder. At MPL, we think beyond the container and always go one step further in everything we do. We live the mission, not just execute the job. Now, we’re looking for our next hero to level up our Import Team in Rotterdam. You in? An MPL forwarder owns the full journey; orders, transport, documentation, and follow-up of import- and export files. You keep shipments moving and the customer informed, from first booking, validating purchase invoices to final billing. Balancing the big picture with precision and purpose is what you’ll do. You don’t just execute. You anticipate, take ownership, and have pride in going further than expected.

Responsibilities

Manage import and export files from booking through final billing, including orders, transport, documentation, and follow-up.

Keep shipments moving and the customer informed at each step.

Balance the big picture with precision and purpose; anticipate needs and take ownership.

Provide real and personal advice as part of MPL’s service approach.

Qualifications / Requirements

Experience in (import) forwarding and knowledge of transport regulations.

Hazardous goods certification is a plus.

Ability to handle forwarding documents with ease.

Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Integrity, positivity, and keeping it real.

Strong geographical knowledge.

Digital forwarder mindset; comfort with new technology.

Willingness to go the extra mile for customers.

Autonomy to make the right calls.

Think outside of the container and speak up when needed.
