Your Mission at Adisseo As part of the

Research & Innovation department , you will play a key role in developing innovative catalytic processes and optimizing existing industrial processes. Your responsibilities will be structured around three main areas:

1. Industrial Support & Process Optimization

Lead industrial support activities in the field of catalysis.

Drive continuous improvement of catalytic processes to enhance competitiveness.

Become the global reference for catalysis within Adisseo.

Operate a pilot unit to collect essential process data.

Define the fundamental data required to develop robust and competitive industrial catalytic processes.

Collaborate closely with production sites and technology teams to analyze and interpret lab and industrial test results.

2. Catalysis for Innovation

Identify new catalytic pathways to valorize Adisseo by-products or invent tomorrow’s processes with a focus on safety, sustainability, and cost-efficiency.

Design and develop innovative catalysts tailored to current and future needs.

Evaluate catalytic performance at lab and pilot scale (activity, selectivity, stability, regeneration), internally or with partners.

Conduct scientific and technological monitoring in catalysis, materials, processes, and instrumentation.

3. Team & R&I Development

Design and propose new lab equipment to accelerate innovation in catalysis, ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of lab operations (tools, processes, digitalization).

Identify new scientific directions and lead strategic thinking within collaborative frameworks.

Prioritize ideas based on their potential to provide Adisseo with a competitive edge.

Maintain and develop scientific collaborations to support innovation.

Supervise technicians, interns, and trainees, and support their skill development.

Qualifications Education:

PhD in Catalysis or Catalytic Processes.

Technical Skills:

Proven expertise in catalytic process development (lab/pilot evaluation, scale-up strategy).

Solid knowledge of catalysis.

Basic knowledge of organic and analytical chemistry.

Laboratory HSE management.

Experience in team supervision.

Broad scientific, industrial, and sustainability awareness.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Languages:

Fluent in French and English.
