Job Purpose and Impact
The Industrial and Supply Chain Management Controller is responsible for performing complex accounting and management activities. As a Business Partner, he or she is an active member of the site's Management Committee, steering the budget and supporting financial decision-making. The main tasks consist of preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, and developing budgeting and forecasting processes. This position also covers the continuous improvement of management information systems, reporting standards, and the development of industrial measures for strategic and financial decision-making. The position is based in Orléans (45).
Key Accountabilities
REPORTING: Prepare complex financial and non-financial reports for internal partners, analyzing and reviewing financial data to ensure that relevant information is shared in a timely and accurate manner.
SITE PERFORMANCE TRACKING: Develop reports and dashboards to track site performance against plans, budgets, forecasts, and other key performance indicators.
DECISION SUPPORT: Review and communicate information based on financial analysis and research to support strategic decision-making.
COST ANALYSIS: Review cost analysis for specific products or projects to better understand cost drivers and opportunities for improvement.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Stay abreast of industry trends and accounting standards, ensure compliance, and promote innovation and continuous process improvement within the department to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
MANAGEMENT REPORTING: Lead the implementation of effective management reporting practices to improve and ensure data integrity and relevance.
RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT: Cultivate and maintain close partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, shared service centers, and audit firms to understand needs and collaborate with other financial leaders to meet the overall expectations of the finance function.
RISK AND CONTROL REPORTING: Review various complex reports to identify and correct vulnerabilities or inefficiencies in the organization. Ensure the reliability of the system (SAP and other ERPs).
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years in a similar role in an industrial environment.
Fluency in English
Proficiency in SAP
Proficiency in Power BI is ideal
Proficiency in US GAAP is ideal
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in corporate finance
