Interim Global Senior Buyer - Marketing, Meetings, Venues, Events & Conferences | Global Blue Chip Tech Firm | £350 per day | 100% Remote Role (EMEA)

You\'ll be stepping into a high-impact interim role leading the Meetings, Marketing, Venues, Events & Conferences category across EMEA - managing strategic sourcing, supplier relationships, and commercial performance for one of the organisation\'s most visible spend areas.

You\'ll work alongside talented procurement professionals in a fast-paced, matrixed global environment where you\'ll gain exposure to complex sourcing challenges, senior stakeholders, and international supplier networks. This is a role that will enhance your profile, broaden your category expertise, and open doors to future opportunities with major global brands.

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end strategic sourcing process for MICE categories including marketing, events, travel, conferences, and exhibitions.

Partner with internal stakeholders across EMEA to understand business needs and deliver procurement strategies that drive value and innovation.

Manage and develop global supplier relationships, ensuring delivery against quality, cost, and service targets.

Lead commercial negotiations and contract management to secure best-in-market outcomes.

Monitor supplier performance and compliance, driving continuous improvement and sustainability objectives.

Qualifications

Proven experience in procurement of marketing, events, venues, conferences, travel or professional services (MICE category experience desirable).

Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and supplier relationship skills.

Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.

Experience working within complex, multinational or consulting environments.

Fluent in business-level English (additional European languages advantageous).
