Engineering at Alan focuses on building infrastructure, interfaces, and applications to serve members, health professionals, and internal teams. Responsibilities Tackle high-impact and high-risk projects involving many engineers. Design efficient systems and engineering practices to coordinate across multiple teams and products. Mentor other engineers and lead crews (details in related articles). Contribute to hiring and shape the technical assessment process. Qualifications Well-versed in Object Oriented Programming such as Python, Java, C#, with enthusiasm for web technologies (modern JavaScript). Willing to work in Python/JavaScript; prior experience with both is not required. Passionate about building products; self-starter and entrepreneurial; humble and eager to grow. Collaborative, team-oriented, and able to teach and learn from others. Fluent in English (French not required). For this opportunity, we are aiming to hire within the C-F level range.
