HOOPP is seeking an experienced Derivatives / Capital Markets lawyer to join its legal department, providing transactional legal support to the trading desk, collateral management, securities operations, and tax teams on a wide range of capital markets investments. The successful candidate will identify and manage investment legal risk based on applicable regulations and HOOPP’s risk tolerance, working closely with internal investment managers advising on global capital markets transactions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Derivatives and Capital Markets transactions, with at least 3 years of experience in private practice. The individual must be highly motivated, pragmatic, and self-confident with excellent communication skills. Strong business acumen, good judgment, and organizational skills are required to succeed in this role.
